Praise God that the Holy Spirit is at work in the village of Katana. People who formerly mocked and ridiculed the followers of Christ now want to help them build a church. Pray that many lives would be touched as a result of this work of God on the hearts of these people. We stand amazed to see all that He accomplishes!
Pray for a woman in Temetemeso who was healed when the pastor prayed for her. Pray that whatever is holding her back from following Christ with her life would be broken and she would find complete freedom and spiritual healing.
Pray for the many new believers who have come to Christ as a result of the evangelism campaigns, including a village chief.
Pray that God will provide pastors for the new churches and new believers. There is so much work to be done here.

1. Praise the Lord for the 27 who attended Theological Education by Extension Teacher Training Classes. Pray that ETE will continue to be used effectively for the training of leaders in the local church.
2. Pray for the Lord's leading for the field leadership team as they consider Church Planting locations for Zach and Julie Stutter as they return in July from Home Assignment.
3. Please uphold the missionaries in their concerns and pray for family members at home who need the Lord and who are struggling with their health.

Praise that funds have come in so that their car is fully paid off! Thanks to all who contributed to the car and their new laptop computer.
Pray that God will give them the strength, grace and guidance to accomplish each of many tasks well.
Pray that God will empower, protect, give wisdom and discernment as they deal with many different situations with people who are hurting and in need of God's grace.
Pray for the Lord's healing in the lives of wounded people He has brought our way.
Pray for Aurelie, an young believer who came as the result of an attractive card invitation they have been mailing out in the city. She has not been back for over a month. Pray she will return with her husband and baby. Pray that many more will come to the church as a result of these cards they are sending out.
Pray for son Spencer that he will finish well his senior year at BFA and for his future as he returns to the US next summer.
Bob & Lisa
Merrill, Russia
1. The Merrills are in the states for their home assignment year. Pray for Bob as he travels around speaking and for times of rest and relaxation as a family. Pray for Lisa as she cares for her aging parents as well as keeping up with the boy's many activities.
2. Pray for the advance of the gospel in all the areas where churches have been established – Tyumen, and Pastor Sasha; Tobolsk, and Pavel and Tanya as they lead a group of young married couples; Old City Tobolsk and a new outreach to the Tartar population.
3. Due to some visa complications, it now looks like the Merrills will return to Russia in August on a three month religious visa. During that time they will do all the necessary tests and complete the application for the work visa. If they do not receive the work visa within the three month period after arrival, they will have to leave Russia and live outside the country for three months before being allowed to return. Please continue to pray about this situation.
